Call of Duty: Warzone patch repairs infinite voice, nerfs DMR-14



A new Call of Duty: Warzone the update is here with a much needed solution to a frustrating bug. The new update also provides some balance changes in the game, including more DMR-14 nerfs.

The endless STIM bug allowed players to make endless use of the STIM tactical equipment, which quickly restores health, just by dropping the weapon while cooking a grenade. This simple activation process meant that the error could be easily repeated, so anyone who wanted to could use it without any problems. Fortunately, with this solution, the bug should be gone for good now.

The patch also brings a new round of nerfs for some of the rifles that have dominated War zone the last few weeks. The biggest goal for the nerfs was once again the DMR-1

4, which survived hits last week and managed to remain the best gun in the game without major problems. In this patch, Raven took a heavier hand with the pistol, greatly reducing the damage over longer distances and making the recoil even more forgiving.

The patch also nerves Type 63, which also received some adjustments last week. Type 63 is basically DMR-14’s younger brother, so it also received reduced range damage, just to be sure that it could not easily replace the other rifle in the meta.

Arms

• Bullet penetration reduced from sniper to AR

• The fall areas for injuries were reduced
– 55 injuries before / 48 injuries after 750 units (down 70% from 2500 units)

• Recoil increased
– Increased moderately for second and third bullet- Increased slightly for subsequent bullets

• Site damage multipliers adjusted
– Headshot now does less than 100 damage after 750 units
– Lower body reduced from 1.1 to 1.01 (~ 8%)

• Bullet penetration reduced from sniper to AR

• The fall areas for injuries were reduced
– 60 injuries before / 45 injuries after 900 units (down 55% from 2000 units)

• Maximum damage reduced from 45 to 40 (~ 11%)
