Duty calls director David Vonderhaar has apparently cast a shadow over the new Battlefield 2042 trailer over on Twitter. This morning, EA and DICE finally drew the curtains on this year’s new Battlefield the game by not only releasing the unveiling trailer, but revealing a release date and an information disc about the PS4, PS5, PC, Xbox One and Xbox Series X / S game. And despite the fact that the trailer is only a few hours old, it is already the second most similar Battlefield the trailer of the times. There are players who are apprehensive about the lack of a promotion and a match royale mode, but by and large, the response to all of the above has been met with excitement and hype.
However, Vonderhaar is not the biggest fan of the trailer, or at least he seems to have one problem with it. Over on Twitter, Vonderhaar ̵

Now it is worth noting that it is not 100 percent obvious what Vonderhaar suggests here. He seems to suggest Battlefield 2042 lifted the current scene, but this is not confirmed.
Whatever the case, the tweet has both Battlefield and Duty calls fans are talking, and for the moment it looks like Call of Duty 2021 and Battlefield 2042 going to re-ignite COD vs Battlefield rivalry, which disappeared after the dull Battlefield V.
