Call of Duty: Black Ops 4's private Blackout beta has been on PS4 in recent days, and now it's expanded to Xbox One and PC as well. Developer Treyarch continues to implement gameplay tweaks and other changes as beta rolls on and a new series of adjustments has now gone live.
As a studio detailed on Reddit, both Xbox One and PC Blackout betas will start supporting 80 players, just as the PS4 version originally did. The PS4 beta will at the same time maintain its recently increased 88-player cap. Treyarch says that it will continue to test different player count for the beta to optimize mode before the Black Ops 4 release next month.
In the case of gameplay tweaks, Treyarch has increased the amount of damage that occurs inside the collapsed area. In addition, the cargo aircraft flying in supply droplets now have more health and will not hurt from bullets. While using the fan, players can now no longer reach high speed, and Treyarch has somewhat increased how long it takes to pull off a steep dive.
The developer has also implemented a number of bug fixes. One that would have more players to spawn at the same place in the Staging area is now resolved and it has others who want players to get stuck on the map. In addition, the developer has solved various collision problems and the recently added killcam.
