Bungie works with some of the older exotics of Season of the Chosen.
According to the developer, the team plans to “shake up” the Aeon suite with Exotics in Destiny 2.
First, Aeon Cult Exotic armor pieces will have their own unique counter-contact and mods. These are unlocked as soon as you acquire the exotic, and each is linked to one of the various Aeon Cult roles.
Mods are identical across Exotics for all three classes.
Each of these modes has an advantage that will focus on the user, and one on allies. The other benefits include an “extra benefit”
The three Aeon Cult modes and their associated mechanics are as follows:
Season 13, or Season of the Chosen as it is called, begins on February 9 with the weekly reset across all platforms, and runs until May 11.
The story focuses on Cabal when Empress Caiatl seeks an alliance with humanity. But it does not work, and a war breaks out with the last city.
Season 13 also introduces Battlegrounds, it looks back to two classic Strikes, a new Strike called Proving Grounds, new equipment, over 25 weapons and Praefectus armor set and Ticuus Divination Exotic bow.
