Black Ops Cold War’s Update 1.7.5 Is Broken and Crashing Consoles

The latest update for Black Ops Cold War is corrupt and causing problems, especially for gamers on the console.

When a Black Ops Cold War update comes out, it tends to bring a new number or two for fans to tackle. However, this new Cold War update 1.7.5 looks completely corrupted and is causing major issues for console gamers.

Today, players discovered a new surprise update for Black Ops Cold War, marked 1.7.5. Despite the fact that the update is only 630 MB in total, we are still not sure what it contains.

Treyarch has not yet revealed what’s new in Black Ops Cold War update 1.7.5, but fans are having trouble installing the new content.

And what’s more, some fans actually report that the latest installation removes Black Ops Cold War completely from the console.

Black Ops Cold War Uninstalling and Crashing With New Update

Not only does Black Ops Cold War’s latest update crash on certain consoles, but some players also report that their game is completely uninstalled.

When you download the latest update of Black Ops Cold War (marked version 1.7.5.8408002 on Battle.net), players experience major issues.

While some users report that the Cold War is infinitely stuck in its “Finishing Up” phase, others have the console completely. This seems to be especially the case on Xbox consoles, from what we can see.

An Xbox player even informs us that the Black Ops Cold War copy uninstalled completely after crashing 100%.

Now, instead of an update of 630 MB, the Call of Duty tab has to install a full 91.24 GB from scratch.

Recently, a new Black Ops Cold War Zombies error allowed players to release the Cranked timer. If this minor update aims to fix minor issues like this, we’ll say it’s not worth the risk.

We’ve already seen examples of Black Ops Cold War crashing next-generation consoles since launch. And with great features like the Cold War multiplayer split-screen multiplayer still ruined, Treyarch certainly has his hands full.
