EA says Grand Operations is "designed to showcase maps and modifications for Battlefield V." Each one lasts about an hour and takes place across three in the game "Days", beginning with an insertion. In Norway's operation it will take the form of the new Airborne mode, which has a parachute on a map to destroy a group of artillery cannons while the other defends itself against the attack.
How well your faction performs, determines how the remaining days of Grand Operation begin. As EA explains, "Good luck on the first day and distribute with adequate supplies of ammunition or vehicles when the map changes. Do bad and you will distribute the next day with maybe fewer responses, vehicles or other resources."
Battlefield V launches for PS4, Xbox One and PC on October 19, but those who buy the game's Deluxe Edition can jump three days early, October 16th.
