Battlefield 4 has been made available as a free download for Amazon Prime customers as part of the Prime Gaming subscription.
The Electronic Arts shooter, which is usually priced at $ 19.99 / £ 17.99, can be claimed from Prime Gaming from June 1st to June 20th. Prime members can claim a game code that can be redeemed on the Origin for Battlefield 4 Standard Edition.
The deal is one of a series of Battlefield campaigns EA is running in the lead of the planned Battlefield 6 unveiling on June 9th.
Battlefield V was available at no extra cost to PlayStation Plus members in May, and the Xbox is currently running a Battlefield sale until June 8, with several series reduced by as much as 85%, while Battlefield 4̵
The next section in developer DICE’s first-person shooter series will be shown publicly for the first time at 07 PDT / 16:00 CEST, the publisher announced on Tuesday.
EA previously confirmed that Battlefield 6’s revealing trailer would be released in June, and that the game will be a cross-country title when it hits consoles and PC this holiday season.
A senior EA communications director also sympathized with fans frustrated by the extended wait for the unveiling of Battlefield 6, but asked for a little more patience.
