ATLUS plans to bring Persona events abroad

In an interview with Famitsu, ATLUS director Naoto Hiraoka shared that the company has plans Person related events both in Japan and abroad. In addition, the interview revealed that ATLUS will continue to invest in Vanillaware games and other ATLUS IPs. In addition, Hiraoka was quoted as saying that he wants to “announce some surprises outside of announcements related to the 25th anniversary of Person series. “However, information about these potential surprise messages has not yet been shared. The interview also revealed that ATLUS currently has a number of titles under development that the company will soon deliver.

The interview reveals that a total of ten projects are currently under development. This includes projects involving Vanillaware and other collaborations with ATLUS. Five to six projects are handled internally at ATLUS. Updates regarding Project Re: Fantasy was also shared. The development of the title is currently slow. , ATLUS launched a website to celebrate its 25th anniversary Person series. This site contains a total of seven unannounced projects related to the series. In addition, the site has a plethora of anniversary-related items. ATLUS currently plans to announce the mentioned projects until the autumn of 2022. The first project will be announced sometime in September 2021.
