Developers from Atlus have discussed their plans for 2021 in a group interview on Famitsu, including the anniversary of the Persona series.
A few developers from Atlus have discussed their plans for 2021 in a large group interview on Famitsu.
Katsura Hashino (best known as the director of Persona 5) and currently working on the mysterious Project Re Fantasy, explained that he would like to reveal the game he has been working on as soon as possible, and encouraged fans to look forward to the JRPG fantasy of the team who have made games in modern environments until now. Remember that he did not promise that the revelation came in 2021
Persona 5 Royal Director Kazuhisa Wada mentioned that a project is going quietly behind the scenes. Atlus is also thinking of ways to share the excitement during the 25th anniversary of the Persona series in 2021, so fans should look forward to it.
Shinjiro Takada, producer of Shin Megami Tensei V, explained that the game is being developed diligently with the goal of making it a better game. While we still have to wait a while (the game has a release window for 2021 at the moment), he hopes fans will look forward to it.
It will be interesting to see what the future holds for Atlus fans. In the meantime, those living in the west will finally be able to play Persona 5 Strikers on PS4, Nintendo Switch and PC in February.
