The Yule festival may be over, but the season still has some new work for Eivor. Assassin’s Creed Valhalla’s new River Raid game mode launches tomorrow in the next title update, which is meant to add some renderable raid missions to keep you and your Jomsvikers busy this winter.
River raids come as part of Valhalla’s title update 1.1.2 as a free update. “Prepare your Jomsviking crew for this new playable mode that takes you to unexplored regions of England, full of raiding opportunities,” they say. “New looting, rewards and challenges await the Raven Clan.”
Alice B called Valhalla’s raid for fun in her Assassin’s Creed Valhall review, saying “You and your comrades run around shouting, basing people with heavy sticks and trying to take as much ground as possible. The fight is fast and often confusing , with blocking and pairing back and given more meaning than ever. You have the ability to shuffle and match your main and off hand with whatever weapons you want. “So hey, sounds like more of it will be very welcome.
Also in title update 1.1.2 there are several new skills and abilities, such as a caught arrow or the ability to automatically carry a body after a successful assassination. Throw away the evidence even faster by not wasting time bending over, right?
River raids are part of Ubisoft’s plans after the launch for Valhalla, which you can get a refreshment on in their trailer upstairs. Several free title updates are planned throughout the year.
You can see the rest of the updates and bug fixes in Ubisoft’s updates. It is about 18 GB for PC gamers and is expected to start around 12.00 GMT (07.00 EST) tomorrow 16 February.
