Are you considering switching? [Poll]- 9to5Mac

Just as people are arguing about iOS over Android, the debate between Apple Music vs Spotify has also grown since 2015. As the war for music streaming services begins to bring podcasts and HiFi to the battlefield, are you planning to stick with your current streaming service, or are you considering Exchange?

I’ve been using Apple Music since it was released. Even when Apple deleted my entire library a couple of times, I did not care. Then, when some songs seemed duplicated, I did not mind either. Now Apple Music is struggling to show proper album graphics to some artists and is facing some reliability bugs. Should I care now?

On the other hand, we have regularly reported on all the changes Spotify makes to the platform. It added podcasts, and the early data shows that this has been a success. It also plans to launch a HiFi level subscription this year, and it recently renewed all applications.

I used to complain because I did not get Spotify̵

7;s user interface, but when I started comparing with Apple Music, I now see that they are very similar. Compare for yourself:

Apple Music

Spotify

If you compare prices, they are exactly the same: $ 9.99 / month for an individual level, $ 14.99 / month for a family subscription and $ 4.99 / month for a student application. The difference here is that Apple now offers Apple One, so it’s easier to stay with Apple Music because you can also receive iCloud, Apple Arcade and Apple TV + completely.

The individual Apple One plan is $ 14.95 per month, while the family plan is $ 19.95 per month: a very nice deal. On the other hand, Spotify has a free ad-based version and a Premium Duo, for two people living together for $ 12.99 / month.

With some of the services you can get a good deal depending on your needs. But if you’re an Apple-type person, you can ask if Spotify can be integrated with all your devices. Spotify has an Apple Watch app, a macOS app and a browser app, but the company does not yet support HomePod integration.

For example: If you enjoy sharing and know what your friends are listening to, you can do so in real time with Spotify. If you like to combine podcasts and music in one place, Spotify also supports it. If you want a nice summary of the year, Spotify can also do better than Apple Music.

As an Apple One subscriber and having all Apple devices integrated with Apple Music, I’m now considering switching to Spotify, and I want to ask you: Are you happy with your current music streaming service? Are you planning to switch? Vote in the poll and tell me in the comments section below.
