Apple will reveal its latest product range on September 12 at Steve Jobs Theater on Apple's campus, announced the company in an invitation to the media. The event starts at 10:00 P.T.
Apple is expected to announce three new iPhone X models: a sequel to the current model with 5.8-inch OLED screen, a larger version with an OLED 6.5-inch display and a cheaper version with a 6.1 inch LCD screen. The 6.1-inch model will use aluminum instead of steel casing to keep costs lower, Bloomberg reported. The report also said that Apple will offer new color choices for the iPhone series. Like iPhone X, all the new iPhone models will hide the Home Button for Motion Controls and FaceID Face Detection System to unlock the phone.
Apple is also expected to update its iPad Pro models with monitors and features that mimic iPhone X, including FaceID and gesture control. Bloomberg reported that Apple wants new versions of iPad 12.9 and 11.9 in.
Several of the reported updates to iPad and Watch emulate iPhone X – revealed last year's product event – full-width, OLED display and face recognition software.
