Apple's next major harvesting machine revealer will take place on September 12, according to a source of knowledge about the company's plans. We have also been told that Apple will stream the event live on Twitter for the first time, since it has previously restricted the flow to its own website. This should attract an even broader audience, which anyone on any device will be able to tune in through Twitter.com or any of the different Twitter mobile apps.
Wednesday, September 12th has been run as the date for the next iPhone release on more than one occasion in recent weeks. In fact, referring to its own sources, the French radio station Europe 1
Apple is expected to announce three new iPhone models at the fall event: a supersized 6.5-inch OLED model, a 5.8-inch OLED replacing iPhone X, and a 6.1-inch LCD model of the same design , but a lower price point. Rumors and reports of all three iPhone models have stopped for several months and were apparently confirmed by a report from Bloomberg at the beginning of the week. In addition to the new iPhones, Apple is also prepping a new Apple Watch, upgraded iPad Pro, updated AirPods and the long-awaited AirPower wireless charger. All of these devices will probably debut on September 12th, with advance orders for the new iPhones that are expected to start Friday 14th. September.
We traveled to Apple but had not heard anything at the time of publication. We will update if and when Apple gets in touch (or when the invitation to the event is shipped in the coming hours).
