Apple has begun accepting applications for a new mentoring program aimed at helping first-generation students. In a PDF obtained by MacRumors, details of the company Launch @ Apple. The document invites immigrant colleges beginning in economics, economics, accounting or a subject related to business, math, commerce or data analysis to apply for the chance to get one-on-one with Apple mentors. The document notes that they will also be opportunities for shading jobs, as well as paid internships and internships.
The program is limited to students who have a parent or guardian who has not obtained their own college degree. The company is also looking for people who are “eager to learn about working in economics in a fast-paced, innovative environment.”
