After being closed in September, Apple has finally confirmed a problem regarding the iPhone Xs display module. The company also announced a 13-inch non-Touch Bar MacBook Pro repair program, offering free repairs on some 128 GB or 256 GB storage devices. Apple says these models suffer from data loss or error.
13-inch non-Touch Bar MacBook Pro sold between June 2017 and June 2018 is affected, according to Apple. It is recommended to visit an Apple Store or Apple Authorized Service Provider for serial-affected drives.
For iPhone X users, Apple says a problem that may affect the display does not respond or the screen responds, even if it was not touched. Unlike the MacBook Pro, Apple does not say what models are being implemented, and essentially says some models that see this issue are being taken to an Apple Store or AASP to get their monitors repaired, at no cost.
