Apple TV’s hit show “Ted Lasso” may have had its most high-profile cameo yet.

In the latest episode of the series, “The Signal”, Apple’s upcoming iPhone 13 may have appeared – without a notch on the front screen. The default multicolor background on Apple’s operating system is set. There is also a view of the back of the phone and the camera with three lenses in a separate image.

Some Apple fans have long apologized for the smartphone hack, which houses the front camera on the device, and critics say it takes up too much space on the screen.

The device could only have been a prop in the show, designed to look like a notch iPhone. Manufacturers could also have used CGI in the scene, as Gizmodo said.

But others have speculated that it may be a preview of Apple’s new smartphone model – as CNET reported that the company could debut sometime in September.

Apple’s next-generation smartphone was already expected to have a much smaller notch than its predecessor to the iPhone 12, but if the company were to get rid of it completely, it would mark a major milestone in the company’s history. The camera can be placed in a kind of sensor under the screen, as SlashGear said.

Apple products have generally appeared in the series. Earlier in the same episode, Ted Lasso took a call from what looks like an iPhone, which can be identified by the setup with three lens cameras on the back of the phone.

Apple did not immediately respond to Insider’s request for comment.
