Apple launches iOS 14.7 beta 2 to developers, more

Apple has released the second beta version of iOS 14.7 and iPadOS 14.7 today. The company also launches watchOS 7.6 developer beta 2, as well as tv OS 14.7 developer beta 2.

Today’s new release of iOS 14.7 beta 2 is available to developers via an air update in the Settings app. As usual, if the update does not appear immediately for download, you will need to keep checking, as it sometimes takes a few minutes to roll out to all registered developers. The building number for today’s release is 18G5033e.

As we detailed last month, iOS 14.7 brings a new time management feature for HomePod users:

4.7 for developers, and although this update does not appear to make any significant changes, it does provide a new feature for HomePod users. With this new version of iOS, users will be able to set timers on the HomePod using the Home app on the iPhone, iPad and possibly also the Mac.
