Apple escaped the trial of allegedly misleading iPhone XS Display Specs

A woman named Courtney Davis has filed a lawsuit against Apple in the Northern District of California about misleading images used to announce the company's new iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max smartphones. Mrs. Davis claimed that the photos hid the screen from the view and gave the impression that there was not one.

The screen is a problem that several companies in the smartphone industry are currently working on finding a solution. Businesses are trying to make smartphones with screens that cover the entire front of the smartphone without anything else in the way, but this has been problematic as companies also want to keep a camera on the front of the phone and the phone needs to have a speaker and microphone on the phone's front for phone calls. Apple currently has a pretty big notch on the display that takes up a considerable amount of space on the front of it's iPhone X and iPhone XS devices.

The primary images used to announce the new iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max hide the screen notch in a pool with pure black background. Although there are some brightly colored images that clearly show the screen, Mrs Davis and her lawyers have argued that this is not clear enough to Apple's customers and that it is deliberately misleading.

"Photos that hide the missing pixels on the Product screenshots are featured on the Succeeded Site, as well as advertisers for resellers selling the products," says the complaint. "These photos were supported by Plantiff Davis, who believed that the iPhone XS and XS Max did not wanted a hack at the top of the phone. "

Mrs Davis and her lawyers seek class-action status for the lawsuit, but it seems unlikely that the trial will succeed. All product pages that Apple has listed on Its website has at least one image that clearly shows the screen. It even shows a picture of the phone with a notch below the box, and it really makes you wonder how someone could have bought the phone and not noticed this. other than wondering why she did not just return the phone and buy another if she was unhappy with the screen.

Due to the relatively slow process of building a class trip ksjon, It's unlikely that this suit will be pushed through to pursue for several years, and it is believed that it does justice to all and is not rejected by the hand of a judge.
