Apex Legends update activates arenas for penalties and adds pride for all players

News

Respawn Entertainment took to Twitter earlier today to tell Apex Legends players that a brand new update has changed some things in the game. These changes include the following updates:

  • Reactivates penalties for arenas
  • Resolves some voice chat issues on Switch
  • Give all players the aforementioned # Pride badge!

It was also detailed that it can take up to 24 hours to take full penalties to be activated. This news is quite remarkable, since the feature has actually been disabled a bit because it did not work as the first one when it was added.

The addition of the Pride brand is also remarkable, as the game will implement this feature for all players, just as they have done in the past with Black Lives Matter and Stop Asian Hate promotions. Like these events, all Apex Legends players must do to activate it, are logged in, as it is free for everyone.

An example of the brand can be seen below.
