Apex Legends’ season 8 adds a solo queue option

Apex Legends‘new queue is made for the most heartfelt players – or just those who want to get in and out of a match with the least possible fuss. Season 8 av Apex Legends is full of new additions, from balance changes to a death full of toxic caustic mines. The most interesting feature may just be the new No-Fill Matchmaking queuing system, which allows players to leave teammates and participate in the game all by themselves.

When players are in the lobby, they see a check box called “Fill Matchmaking.”

; This is the usual way to play; if you stand in line alone, you will be paired with a squad for Duos or Trios. However, daring can remove the check mark in the box, which means they will be a layer on one.

This is not meant to be the main way to play the game – there will only be up to six solo players in a given game, and you cannot go it alone in the game’s ranked mode. Developer Respawn Entertainment suggests that the following scenarios are ideal for No-Fill queues:

Focus on completing certain daily and weekly challenges

Warm up, get hot and get in many fights

Challenge yourself – can you win a round of Duos alone? What about Trios?

Experience the latest lore teaser on your own

Explore the map and experiment with characters you have not tried before; Take the opportunity to learn a little more about the game at your own pace.

Season 8 update for Apex Legends also includes a playlist called Ring Fury, where death walls flare up all over the map. Players can avoid these fire rings, or drop a heat shield to clear the damage and survive the flares. As the event continues, the Ring Fury spots will become even more dangerous and common, so keep an eye out.

Water treatment has also been replaced by caustic treatment. This is part of the map with high risk and high rewards full of traps and mines that can easily kill a legend. The Mirage Voyage cruise has moved on, and Respawn suggests it will be “back when you least expect it.”
