Android 12 brings with it many visual changes, and now the out-of-box experience is updated to match. With Android 12 Beta 3, Google adds a new coat of paint to the Pixel phones setup experience.
A new setup experience in Android 12 Beta 3 provides a largely visual update of the setup experience that we see on Pixel phones in the future. The experience will surely be adjusted for other Android OEMs that it always is in, but this latest revision sets a nice guideline for others to follow.
What is new? Besides the visual overhaul, there are a few nice adjustments. Google has placed additional emphasis on teaching navigation gestures with a long guide on how to use the gestures. This section is not brand new, but seems a little more thorough now than it was in previous releases.
Furthermore, Google has added a nice, little Easter egg to the first page. The shapes you can see in the first image below move around the screen, and when they hit the sides of the screen, there is a very subtle vibration. It̵
