Almost one month after launch, Destiny 2: Forsaken now with its year a DLC

From Tuesday, October 16, if you buy Destiny 2: Forsaken, you get two-piece DLC for free last year. If you already own the Forsaken and these extensions, and you log in before Tuesday, you will instead get a bundle of pretty cool cosmetics.

This means that if you own Destiny 2, but not interested in last year's season ticket, you only have to buy Forsaken so come in for fun. And fun is it: The overwhelming perception of critics and players is that Forsaken has truly revived Destiny 2 and may even represent a highlight of the series together. And on that note: shameless review plug.

As for these cosmetics, they include a stylish exclusive shader and emblem with another of Bungie's distinctive tiger themes; two exotic feelings, including Petra's knife-spin-trick; and a bundle of consumables that appear during activities for bonus rewards.

So on the front page, this is pretty good news. One of the few criticisms made by Forsaken is that it was too expensive to buy all the content. And according to Bungie's weekly update, where the movement was announced, it's a response to such feelings: Bungie "will make it less complicated for other guardians to start their journey in the Forsaken."

However, it's a bit rude to have done this barely a month after the Forsaken launch: those who pre-ordered, and those who carefully waited for assessments or for the raid to unlock, have delivered a whole lot more (depending on editions) for the year a season card than those who want to take advantage of this surprise discount.

More comments on Resetera have been found in this exact position, and the reactions range from mildly annoyed to four letter words annoyed. Bungie implies that cosmetics are for those who endanger the buyer's remarks: "For you and only the players like you, we have a collection of veterans' rewards as an expression of our gratitude for being on the front line."

The weekly update previews Destiny 2 is the upcoming Halloween event, The Lost Festival. It will start on Tuesday, along with the next Iron Banner week, and will run until November 6th. There is also an excellent excellent popular movie this week, which I want to leave here.
