With the rest of Final Fantasy VII being remastered, refurbished or converted, it would be foolish for the computer numbered affiliate movie not to get its reason. Today, Sony Pictures Home Entertainment announced the 4K Ultra HD remaster of Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children, complete with HDR support and bilingual Dolby Atmos audio. So fancy.
The new 4K release is a remastered version of the 2009s Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children Complete, which added 25 minutes to the original film’s run time, revised lots of scenes and dug a little deeper into Cloud’s development. All this, remastered in 4K with HDR10, and new English and Japanese soundtracks.
The release includes two albums. Here’s what’s on them:
4K Ultra HD disc
- Recently remastered in 4K, with HDR10
- Brand new English and Japanese Dolby Atmos soundtrack + English and Japanese 5.1 sound
Blu-Ray
- Function presented in HD
- On the way to a smile – Episode: Denzel Animated film
