2019 is already becoming a busy year for Samsung, which has a number of hardware releases, which include everything from new flagship folders to collapsible devices – and, according to a new report, an expansion of mid range for tablets.
A New Samsung Galaxy Tab A model has apparently been under development and can be quite early in the first quarter. Per 91Mobiles the 32GB tablet starts as the foundation option, including black and gray color choices, and we could see a launch on the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona or possibly on the February 20th event, where Samsung is expected to uncover its Galaxy S10 series.
It is not yet clear whether the tablet should be sent with Android 9 Pie out of the box, and other details are as scarce. For some context, Samsung's latest addition to the Galaxy Tab A series came a few months ago with the Galaxy Tab A 1
When Samsung can show the new tablet, it is also possible to announce this at the March event. Samsung will eventually last, where it will showcase the 5G variant of the Galaxy S10, among other products.
The new tablet will probably be part of the Samsung product revealing in the coming weeks and months, but is obviously far from the most exciting. As we've reported here, we're just a few months away from Samsung finally revealing its folding phone to the world, giving a brand new form factor to the smartphone category that could either give Samsung's mobile effort a shot or a country like a complete dud.
The company is obviously expected to launch three major models for the Galaxy S10 in the coming months as well as a possible high-end model for selected countries working on next generation 5G networks. All in all, in other words, a lot of Samsung hardware is on its way.
