A surprising sale has appeared on PSN, and it is one of the biggest we have seen. It's called Attack of the Blockbuster, and sales more than live up to the name. Thousands and dozens of the biggest PS4 games are discounted now, including tons of big PS4 exclusions. As often happens with these things, PlayStation Plus members get extra savings. There is no official word on when sales end, but some of the games say they return to the regular price on 28 August. In any case, be ready to get hurt on your credit card.
Let's start with God of War, which is on sale for $ 40 (or $ 35 if you're a member of PS Plus). That's a lot, considering how recently this surefire Game of the Year competitor came out. When you talk about major PS4 exclusives, you can download Horizon: Zero Dawn: Complete Edition for just $ 1
The entire Uncharted series is also for sale for cheap. You can pick up Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection for $ 10 ($ 8), Uncharted 4 for $ 12 ($ 10), and the stand-alone offshoot Uncharted: Lost Legacy for $ 15 ($ 12). The kinematic horror game for dawn is only $ 6 ($ 5), while Insomniac's pre-Spider-Man game Ratchet & Clank is down to $ 9 ($ 7).
It's not just Sony exclusive for sale either. The Witcher 3: Complete Edition, a sprawling game you can spend hundreds of hours exploring, is down to $ 25 ($ 20). The first person's horror test Resident Evil 7 is on sale for $ 22.50 ($ 20). For bonus shots you can play the whole game using PSVR.
Also on sale are a number of remastered classics from the last console generation, including Batman: Return to Arkham, BioShock: The Collection, Metro Redux, all costing $ 20 or less with PS Plus.
